David Kent from Ash Vale, won the Silver Medal for Best
Exhibit at the Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show near Lingfield in Surrey
on 29th August. The four vases of dahlias he showed were: Hillcrest Candy, 2 x vases Oakwood Goldcrest and Dikari
Superb. At the same show, Darren and Dawn Everest from Westerham, Kent, members of the Kent Dahlia Society won a Gold Medal for a Display of Dahlias: Darren grows 280 plants and put on a magnificent display as well as winning many prizes in the open classes. |

| On Saturday 28th August, Ron Thomas won the Silver Medal for Best Exhibit at the
Horsham and District Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society
show held at Mannings Heath For the winning entry Ron used WInholme Diane, Oreti Bliss, Cherwell Goldcrest and Oakwood Goldcrest. |
