NOTIFICATION OF EMERGENCY CLASSIFICATION CHANGE – Judges and Exhibitors please note.
The late delivery of the 30th edition of the classified directory has given rise to problems for growers of miniature ball dahlias. Many had planted out before receiving a copy of the directory and were surprised to find that they were in difficulties with the number of varieties needed for championship classes due to new classifications..
As a result of these exceptional circumstances, and to help exhibitors, the Executive Committee have agreed to withdraw the classifications of Dave’s Choice and Dikara Kent which have previously been shown in ball classes. They are therefore considered as unclassified and are eligible to be shown in any relevant class until the next edition of the Classified Directory.
