Starting in 1980, the annual Rainford Show has brought villagers together to take part or just have a look at the skills on show and is one of the best shows of it’s type in the area. There are classes for handicrafts, photography, confectionery, preserves, floral art, vegetables, fruit and flowers. There are also special classes for Rainford residents and members of the Rainford Horticultural Society, as well as for junior exhibitors and for beginners.

We are always looking for new exhibitors, so whether you are a keen gardener, part of a hobby group or just like taking photographs, why not show off your skills and take part in this years show, you may even win a prize or trophy.

Flowers: Everyone loves the colour and beauty of flowers and this is a really eye catching category. The ability to grow a bunch of  perfectly formed Dahlias or Sweet Peas , all identical to each other and to time their growth to be ready for the show takes a huge amount of preparation and skill. If this is your speciality then this is the category for you.
