Halstead Horticultural & Chrysanthemum Society has been in existence for over 60 years
and is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, the National Dahlia Society and the
National Chrysanthemum Society. The oldest recorded Minutes for the society date back
to 1954.
The Society’s small committee is passionate about keeping the society going and indeed
still puts on two Flower & Vegetable shows in Halstead each year with exhibits of
Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Vegetables, cookery and craft work all on show.
The Society is always looking to welcome new members, exhibitors and visitors so why
