Yeovil & District Chrysanthemum & Dahlia Society is for anyone with a keen interest in dahlias and/or chrysanthemums. We hold two shows a year. An early show is usually held in mid-September for dahlias and early chrysanthemums. A late chrysanthemum show is held in mid-November. On our website you can find show schedules, reports and photos of the shows, newsletters & details of dahlia varieties raised by our members. It isn’t all about shows, we try to offer help to newcomers on how to grow dahlias and look after their tubers – and our website shows pictures of various dahlia varieties growing in a garden environment.
Membership of the Society is just £4 a year, payable on entry to one or other of our early or late shows.
The popular dahlia tuber sale is also held each autumn, usually to coincide with the late show.
