Essex Dahlia Society Annual show At Writtle University College.
Last year’s show moved to the Lordship Campus at Writtle University College. It was without doubt a resounding success. The Society was delighted by a visit from Essex Radio. Their broadcast brought in dozens of people on a rainy afternoon. It was a great delight to all of the exhibitors to see so many members of the public marvelling at the blooms.
We hope to repeat it this year and once again invite Essex Radio to the show. The Society was very pleased with the new venue at the Northumberland Building. The hall was superb and the facilities ideal for the show.
Staging Times: Saturday 24th August 6.00pm – 9.00pm; Sunday 25th August 7.00am – 11.00am;
Judging from 11.00am.
Show open to public and exhibitors from 2.00pm. Prize giving and presentations, 3.45pm approx
