Autumn Show
Hayling Island Horticultural Society was founded in 1886. It is run by its members for its members. We have near 800 households as members, including many located off island.
It is a real social occasion with a buzz from setting up the hall on Friday evening, then Saturday morning staging of exhibits and judging, the afternoon public opening and trophy presentations, until the final clearing away late Saturday afternoon.
An afternoon tea room offers home made cakes.
There are plant sales, trading centre stall, tombola guest tables and at the summer show a raffle.
