We regret to inform you that the Northern Show at Newby Hall ( formerly known as the Harrogate Show ) has been cancelled for 2020

The Northern National Show 2020

The show will be held on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2020 at the new venue of Newby Hall, Ripon.

Exhibits can be staged from 3.00pm on Thursday 17 to 7.00am on Friday 18.

The Northern National Show 2019

This year the Northern National show will be in conjunction with the Great Autumn Show at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.

The show will be held on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2019.

Exhibits can be staged from 3.00pm on Thursday 12th to 7.00am on Friday 13th.

We regret to inform you that this Show has been cancelled for 2020

The Bureau display, which showed examples of the various dahlia classifications, won a Gold Award.  Well done to the members of the Northern Committee who put on a wonderful display.

Midlands do the double! Arthur Luck Society Challenge Trophy goes to the Midlands Dahlia Society

The Midlands beat Bishop Auckland to win the Arthur Luck Affiliated Societies Trophy. The winning exhibit also was awarded the best vase in show – Barbarry D’Amour grown by Peter Clubb, as well as the best vase of Poms in show, also grown by Peter Club. Other vases were Oakwood Goldcrest, Kenowra Challenger, Sir Alf Ramsey, Aggie White and Bryn Terfel – blooms grown by various members of the society.
