Burbage Gardening Club

The club was formed as the Burbage Allotment and Gardening Association on 30^th August 1946 with the aim to promote horticultural interest in the local area.  The club was renamed to Burbage Gardening Club (BGC) in December 1998.  We hold a monthly social meeting with speakers on gardening related subjects, coach trips to gardens and places of relevant interest as well as a quarterly newsletter.  We have a members’ only supply store selling gardening products at competitive prices and operate a discounted seed scheme.  Members are also able to purchase seed potatoes, onion and shallot sets as well as flowering bulbs at relevant times of the year.  We hold an annual open show on the 3^rd Saturday in August each year.  As well as the NDS we are also affiliated to the RHS and NSALG.  Full details of all activities can be found on the club website.
